London Calling: Favorite UK Fashion Websites

London Calling:  Favorite UK Fashion Websites

LFW, aka London Fashion Week ended earlier this week. So today I wanted to share my favorite UK-based shopping sites and a few of my favorite looks from across the pond with you.  I’ve been a fan of “British” fashion for a long time.  I think my fascination began with my first sighting of Doc Martins and watching British Rock Groups of the 80s on MTV. Londoners seem to take more risks with their style and love a quirky spin to refresh the clean and crisp.

London Calling – No need to hop across the pond!

Favorite U.K. Shopping Websites– Topshops’ eclectic British style is know all over the world.  Topshop began in 1964 in the basement of  a department store.  The flagship store in Oxford Circus is the mecca for cool Londoners and vacationing trendsetters alike! Topshop also has a flagship in Chicago and NYC.  Standard shipping to the U.S. is FREE and right now they are offering a cool 20% discount for students until September 28th.– This is how I would want to dress everyday if I could.  Everything is timeless, modern, a little sexy, feminine, and elegant. There is no need to hop from page to page to pull together an outfit, the buyers and designers have already done this for you.  The layout is the easiest to shop and the pieces fit seamlessly together. Launched in 2006, is a website aimed to simplify your shopping experience. This is THE place for investment pieces and wardrobe staples.– Matches Fashion opened their first store in Wimbledon in 1987.  From the beginning Matches Fashion has been known for the modern luxury shopping destination.  Matches Fashion caters to both Men and Women, focusing on the finest fashions from established and emerging labels and designers.– Reiss was founded in 1971 by David Reiss, with a mission to be creatively directional. Reiss is known for their sexy, modern look focusing on quality and detail. The first global Reiss store was opened in 2005 in NYC. Each store has it’s own unique aesthetic and global stamp.  Reiss prides it’s celebrity and cult following of stylish and sexy trendsetters.– ASOS is the UK’s largest independent fashion and beauty retailer. ASOS not only markets their own line but gives their customers access to over 750 boutiques! ASOS is probably the most affordable and the trendiest UK site. I love shopping ASOS for “it” season pieces.  I know I’m not dropping a fortune on if the trend does not last another season.
